Way Out West question
I was just wondering who the girl that sings on the new Way Out West album (Don't Look Now) is? A friend asked me and I don't know, so I thought you guys might know the answer. Thanks in advance.
Omi.
Does she have a last name, or is it just Omi? Any other information, like other bands she sings with, would be appreciated.

What's the story with them though? Are they staying together now? Are they going to continue doing albums together? I've heard Nick Warren is going to split from them... Then again i've been hearing that for ages.
Do any of you lads know?
thanks,
nelly

Is "Killa" on the new Way Out West album? That song sounds really good. Plus, are there any other songs the new album that are like "Killa"?

This seems as good a place to raise the subject as any. I saw their newest album in the shop the other day, but I didn't buy it, (golden rule: always listen before you buy). So... is it any good?
Another question that could've been avoided with a link to Discogs.

go get it!
We actually did a review of this album, got good feedback from it too.
Pretty tempted to purchase the CD... I'll probably check my local cd store later for this.
i love way out west , but this isnt my cup of tea, especially because im not a fan of artist albums...with 3 minute tracks glued one into the next...takes away the dance flow and feeling, at least for me...id rather see a sweet compilation with new way out weat tracks featured on it, instead of lil 3 minute renditions of god knows what. But its great nonetheless for easy listening.

It's easily one of the best CD's of last year.
Fantastic variety of tracks and sounds, Way Out West is one of those few groups where pretty much everything they touch turn to gold.
Because "Killa" is such a huge, epic track with such a killer bassline, it overshadows some of the rest of the album. But in my opinion, even though "Killa" is probably the best track, some of the other tracks on the album you'll find yourself listening to over and over again.
Northern Lights.
Melt
Chasing Rainbows
It's just a fucking awesome CD. No reason to not get it if your a fan of electronic music.
You can always listen before you buy at various online shops. Show support for one of dance music's longest standing players.
And what's with the continued spreading of an unsubstantiated rumor about Nick Warren. Until you hear it from an official source, why continue to spout it? The next single "Don't Forget Me" is due in March with remixes from Way Out West, Slam and Kaito.

He's right, that has nothing to do with the vocalist for WOW. I believe her last name is "Shaw." She's also collab'd with Starecase and Peter Gabriel in the past.
Definelty buy the album. Its one of those that you definetly want to have in your collection. Really great piece of work. The vocalist is really good too. Dont know her name either.
