VA - Perfect Remixes Vol.3 by Tiesto

Tracklist:
01. DJ Jan - Blaxo (Tiesto Remix)
02. Johan Gielen pres. Abena - Velvet Moods (Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise Remix)
03. Salt Tank - Eugina (Tiesto Remix)
04. The Roc Project feat. Tina Arena - Never (Past Tense) (Tiesto Remix)
05. Junkie XL - Breezer (Tiesto Remix)
06. Balearic Bill - Destination Sunshine (Tiesto Power Mix)
07. Mauro Picotto - Pulsar (Tiesto Remix)
08. Nickelson - Aquaphonic (Tiesto & DJ Jim Remix)
09. Hybrid - Airless (Tiesto's Magical Remake)
10. Motorcraft - When Time Will Come (Tiesto Remix)

will be released the 8th of february. altho the name of the series is called perfect remixes, the company really picked the wrong remixes. now i dunno if they are unmixed or unedited, but it looks like it, but this is just my verdict by looking at the tracklist:

His remix of blaxo was bland, velvet moods remix sucked, eugina remix was an embaressment, never remix was just bleh, breezer remix was even bigger embaressment than the remix of eugina, the remix of balaeric bill rocks, pulsar remix is really bad, aquaphonic remix was halfarsed, same with airless and i haven't actually heard that remix of that motorcraft track.

basicly, if this is unmixed & unedited, the only reason to get the cd is well for the highly wanted and rare tiesto power remix of destination sunshine

Posted by Reactic on Jan-13-2005 21:34:

It's definitely unmixed, as Perfect Remixes 1/2 was.
Can't wait to hear this. Don't know about the quality of the tracks but the fact that this tracks aren't well-known is a plus for this compilation. The tracks that I only know are

04. The Roc Project feat. Tina Arena - Never (Past Tense) (Tiesto Remix)

06. Balearic Bill - Destination Sunshine (Tiesto Power Mix)

that's damn less for a person who idolize tiesto

hehe everyone watch here

I have volumes 1 and 2, and I was a bit disappointed with them (especially the Oakenfold one). I doubt I will pick this one up. I've only heard a handful of the tracks on this one, and I don't really like them.

Posted by RebeL9 on Jan-13-2005 22:16:

interesting is that they seem to have chosen the worst remixes from Tiesto (except for the dest. sunshine)

Posted by Jasperovitsj on Jan-13-2005 23:04:

No:

Jan Johnston - Flesh

Sarah McLachlan - Sweet surrender

Delerium - Silence

Paul Oakenfold - Southern sun

They could have included at least one of those to make it sell more. And if their goal was to feature less-known remixes, they should have added his remix for "EVO - sound of the drums", cause that one was pretty cool. Or his remix for "Subtle By Design - Sirius"...

No kidding. "Imperfect Remixes" is more like it.

They must have really skimped on the royalties to come up with this one. Not including Flesh, Silence, and Southern Sun is just criminal.

yes it's a embarrasment, tiesto was chosen to remix one of the greatest songs of all time and turns in this halfarsed (i dunno if it even qualifies to being halfarsed), pathetic piece of music that is a utter blasphemy and gives no respect what so ever to the wonderful original

Heh, no way. Even Tisto played the Michael Woods Remix in his sets.

Oh, and this CD looks disappointing.

That's my guess. It is being released on a small US label (Warlock) who I never heard of aside from the Perfect Remix series. They probably took whatever tracks they were able to get.

Posted by spc on Jan-14-2005 06:35:

tiesto's perfect remixes?

im with you guys... where the hell are the perfect remixes? although there are a few that are sweet...but seriously...wtf?

exactly! not even Delerium - Silence is included, ..

the person who compiled this one shoot be lynched

BT - force of gravity (Tiesto remix) anyone ?

Posted by Kinde on Jan-14-2005 15:41:

Thumbs down

Yep, this cd has some of the worst possible Tiesto remixes. Had there been remixes of, for example, Willow, Open Your Mind and Sirius I would have probably bought this..

Posted by nettwerk on Jan-15-2005 02:54:

... and I thought I had a bad taste for music...
Whoever compiled this has just beaten me.

Posted by sigmanova on Jan-15-2005 03:15:

wow this compilation looks incredibly shitty. quite blasphemous without silence, sweet surrender, flesh, and southern sun

defo, because you can always buy the cd, burn off the rare & sought after remix of balaeric bill - destination sunshine and then give the cd to someone else

it's not the hybrid you think off (i.e. mike truman & chris healings), it's another act called hybrid (Ernst Bijlsma & Ben Dijkgraaf)
