Well, that settles that eh PVD? (Sorry couldn't resist)
I love soundforgr 7.0
Sound forge 4.5 to 6.0 I just can't stand Sony buying Sonic Foundry. Them bastards!!!
Total Recorder totally fucked up my sound card, by adding that dreaded software emulation. Had to unistall it and put Sound Forge. No more of that Total Garbage.
wow, when it comes to computers i am a complete idiot, but i havent had any trouble with total recorder....
How is it with the quality of recorded set?
Is there a difference in quality between the programs you use to record your set or it not depends on the program?
My second question:
When I use to record my set, using vinyls, isnt the quality degraded because of the analog>digital and digital>analog converters on soundcard?
Do you get better quality when you connect the mixer to the amplifier and then to the CD-recorder or something?
I have Pioneer DJM300 mixer and Sound Blaster Platinum 5.1 soundcard.

Well, I didnt mean sound quality problems.
But from the decks come analog sound, and thats the advantage in term of quality, compared to cds or mp3s.
But maybe when you get the sound through soundcard, you lose the advantage because of the converters. That was my point.

. I don't think you can do anything about it getting switched to digital though... CD's are digital, MP3's are digital... Put a record player in your car perhaps ?
