dutch/german pop track

i first heard this song when I was in Amsterdam first week of July 2004. I saw the film clip on the Dutch music channel in the hotel.

The film clip was a cartoon, the main character/singer was african american. i partially remember in the cartoon she was floating on a cloud or something.

It's a pop/rnb ballad, and it samples a melody from one of 2pac's songs (which is probably sampled from something else).

I had the title written down but lost it during my travels.

Any idea what song I'm talking about?

the singer is a woman. U2 is not involved.

It's only U2 music (with or without you)... so I guess LMC is the singer... It's a woman singing the song, that's for sure...

yeh i know, i have the LMC vs U2 track. not the track i'm looking for.

it wasn't a versus track or a remix of an old track, though it did contain a sample/melody of a 2pac track (one of his slower songs - can't remember the track name atm).

format was female singer name - track title

hopefully someone has seen the film clip and knows what i'm talking about.
