see youat 1015 tonight
hey guys... those of u in the bay area, just wanted to say i am super excited to make my first trip back to the west coast since the PS2 tour in 2003 with Tiesto... 2005, it's actually a new start for me; i took it easy in 2004 on the DJ schedule to focus on remixes, production, and of course my ever-expanding family (the birth of my daughter, Lia Grace, during hurricane jeanne!).
so after all that, and with new releases coming on labels from Armada to MTheory to Release, i don't think i have ever been so invigorated and excited about dance music. and i am glad to be back behind the decks full-time.
so, i'll be at 1015 next saturday with paolo mojo and scott carelli... if you would like to check out some of my recent mixes, you can do that at www.hybridized.org . there are about 14 of them there, including my appearance on GDJB last month.
see u guys next week.
peace and love

Woh, didn't know you live in Orlando, my home town. Born, raised, and almost went to Full Sail after graduating HS, but decided to focus on other things and am where I am today here in San Francisco because of it.
Anyhow, already posted my excitement on the Ten15 boards.
thanks dave
yeah i live in orlando (for the moment), and my part time day job: i teach at full sail...
see u saturday, make sure you come by and say hello!

wicked
wicked night... paolo got stuck in NYC in the blizzard, so i picked up the slack and played from just before 2am til closing out at 5... i had a great time and can't wait to get back to see you guys in SF again.
maybe some TA's can stop by and say hi next time? dave T, did you make it by?

Sorry, I wasn't able to.
I popped something in my back or something late last week and it just got worse over the weekend. I was planning on going even as late as Saturday afternoon but finally just gave in knowing my back was still getting worse and not any better.
If I was there, I would have said hi, without a doubt. Would have had to say hi to Cece, Scott, etc up in the booth, too.
I hope a good crowd turned out. It's hard to fill up Ten15 since it's VERY DJ-centric there.
Now I just need to get better by Thursday.
Dave
sorry to hear about yr back dave... hope yr feeling better. i know the back pain quite well. we'll catch up next time...
here's what was cool for me: people were really into it, but most of them had no idea who i am (or who i think i am, hehe). after touring with tiesto so much, it was awesome to get a nice crowd response so far removed from the cult of DJ personalities. i could have been anybody up there, and it seemed like they were just into the music. and while i didn't play my best set ever, it was solid and they responded pretty nicely. it felt great to be back in san fran. i dont play as many as i used to, so every gig is special and exciting to me, but good ones are extra special. can't wait to come back to SF!
peace
