hehe you musn't get much trance up in Alaska

anyways, i like the guy, i dont know what he's playing these days, but i had a phase where i loved the guys productions, so i'd crave his sets where it was mainly his own productions Force of Gravity remake into Synaethesia remix and then indigo or right of way or rock your body rock. Became a little boring after a while, then he started dropping No One On Earth which kinda made me cringe because i just couldnt see how that fit into his sets

Posted by eckmek on Jan-16-2005 19:39:

Yeah he's damn good, but i'm pretty sure plenty of people are able to "touch him"

it's nok like he's the almighty god of trance.

He did produce a LOT of quality stuff and i dig quite a lot of it myself. Almost needless to say, especially his older remixes

But stuff like Indigo and Force Of Gravity Remake also got me groovin' quite many times

Posted by beats and beeps on Jan-16-2005 20:01:

Because he makes good music sound bad.

Posted by DickieThijssen on Jan-16-2005 21:48:

Well he remixed Synaesthesia what was totally unnescesairy and he didnt improve it, no extra touches to the old version... But that is productionwise, as a dj, there arent much recent sets available unfortunately so i wouldnt exactly know... What i do know, Ferry in Concert was amazing, prob the best set i ever heard, but thats a while ago.......

Posted by Lira on Jan-16-2005 22:47:

Not even his wife can touch him?! Cor blimey!

Posted by GEM on Jan-16-2005 23:10:

He's also so damn HOT!!!
I personally like Ferry better than Tiesto, Armin OR PVD. But I am really a serious Sander Kleinenberg girl...

Posted by Subtle on Jan-16-2005 23:14:

Ferry dies years ago.. and is craddling in the grave along with AvB and Tijs

I label him as a good one.

I'm not trying to be a dick, just for the sake of being a dick, but I dont think he has done that much for trance...besides turn his back on it, and make an attempt to destroy electro.

can all you haters say "punk"? thats right! lalalalalallalalala...!

Tiesto, olmpyics mofo. Plus that Punk song is not trance, and I dont see why so many people like it.

Posted by Cobalt on Jan-17-2005 03:37:

Oh man, not the "Ferry's new stuff isn't trance" canard. Zzzz.

Ferry either revived or killed trance, depending on your perspective.

Posted by NuDarkBeat on Jan-17-2005 03:48:

your dumb

Ferry has got a personnal touch between Electro and Trance and definitely owns his style. He's not a boring trance artist opposite to many others (without quoting names)

ROFL....

Sander K > AVB > Ferry

sorry I haven't posted in music discussion.
its overrated much like the dj's listed above.

Posted by DOOMBOT on Jan-17-2005 04:32:

In my opinion, Ferry just has his own sound. He has just opened the doors to many new sounds in trance/techno. I like it a lot and only save his mizes for special occasions just because he has such a unique sound.

yep, not only is he a legend but the guy did not go the boring prog like route and instead tried something different while still being a trance DJ
bunch of morons dissing Ferry
but whatever everyone has a right to make their opinion

gotta agree with you on that. even though I still like prog it still doesn't hold a light to trance.

hopefully I'll see you for Ultra, eddie.
