Historical Fiction or Science Fiction?

It had ghosts, spirits, and time travel... but many people consider it historial fiction....which is it?

historical as in it's a classic historical peice of writing. it's not science fiction because it doesn't talk about aliens and shit. talking about ghosts and shit doesn't make something science fiction...i mean people have always used ghosts and shit in writing...doesn't mean Dante's Inferno or something is science fiction...
