ASOT stopped till further notice

Just got a newsletter from Armada and it says this:

"Due to a change in the programming schedule ID&T Radio will no longer be broadcasting Armin van Buuren's "A State of Trance" radio show. We are currently looking into the possibility of collaborating with another radio station and will keep you informed. "

Looks like there won't be any ASOT for a while

wtf
You k idz dont appreciate anything!
Im not crazy about ASOT anymore & stopped listening to ASOT like at number 103 something...I dunno...
but a lot of tracks on there were like new releases promos that gave an opportunity
for people to hear it for the first time.
Stop being so ridiculous..give some credit to those who were involved.

Like, giving credit to the labels who made Armin promote their stuff when it was shit that he really didn't want to play?

i hope that, if Armin finds a new station, ASOT is going to be a monthly show. or at least bi-weekly.. every week is just too much.

A Shitty Online Trance show
A S O T

Posted by mto on Jan-18-2005 18:14:

The show never appealed to me to begin with. Never even listened to a single episode. Never really liked Armin besides handful of his remixes. Therefore, I simply do not care. Touche.

I think monthly is the most it should be. I started listening to it and then stoppped after about a month b/c it's the same damn things over and over. I'm sorry, but there is not that much new quality stuff for a weekly show to run on.

Touche? A gay french word sire, would you like a cookie for that?

Armin has invested a lot of work for a DJ/Producer of his proportions and work load, and it's nice to see in this thread that people are nothing but jealous about it.
You think this is good for trance, I can only ask what trance is there left here?
You're all bragging how you're into mcprog/mctechno and so mc'on, therefore your opinions are as much worth as gum under your shoes - mchew.

Trust me, nobody is bragging about being into 'McProg.'

Wraith makes a very good point - the amount of quality material that is being released is coming out at a significantly slower rate than the once-a-week format ASOT held. Even a bi-weekly show would be an improvement.

It has nothing to do with jealousy.

Shut the fuck up you idiot! I was never a fan of this guy even before ASOT. I implied in my post that i only cared for a handful of his productions/remixes and that is it! If he has done so nice and invested so much to improve trance .. they why the fuck is he the one drinkin coffee with Markus and riding his dick? Mcprog and Mctranc is Armin along with this Miami bullshit. I dont listen to Markus, I dont listen to Armin. Between both of them combined I probably like 5 or 6 tracks... and those tracks are pre-2003 era.

****!

We have a saying if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.
Much to your dismay ASOT won't just die, not yet anyway, if nothing else Armin is releasing ASOT 2005 compilation in march in your face.
I don't know about Armin's drinking habits but I'm sure everyone here (but you) will agree it's his business who mixes his cappucino, and if anyone's riding anyone it's people like you bashing bashing and bashing while not doing anything constructive.

Who bashed mothe******? You bashed me. I simply implied that the show didn't appeal to me and that I didnt listen to it, and therefore I didnt care if it was cancelled. I only said something after u called me gay and started spreading your shit words like you know what you are talking about. You're entitled to your own opinion and i am to mine. So if i said that the show didnt appeal to me and that i simply dont give a fuck, thats my opinion. Again, stfu.

Posted by Cobalt on Jan-18-2005 20:38:

I'm speechless. It's like the Berlin Wall just fell or something.

Though if Armin ressurects it as a monthly show somewhere else, it might return to the quality it was once known for.

Posted by Cobalt on Jan-18-2005 20:42:

Whoa, whoa, calm down kids. This is a time for friendship and revelry.

Just remember, Armin was on top of the world by 2002. It was a commom thought on TA then that he was the promise of the genre, before the Seven Cities remix began the slide downhill. He still has talent, but just needs to culture it again.
