i would bet that mixer is tougher made than most mixers out today

I mean that it looks kinda weird, not toyish by build quality.knowing urei and bozak quality its hard to say it will be built like a toy. But i mean im totally satisfied with my X1500,and wont upgrade for anything, because its not like im going to have hardcore sex with my mixer till I break the knobs or something.

Thumbs down

i say make a good linear or rotary 4 channel mixer to compete with allen + heath & rane.

no eq's = no thanks.

i don't think there gonna be 2 expensive....i heard around 900 euro

Posted by mr. sound on Jan-18-2005 23:06:

^^^ it needs an external eq unit like the rane mp / xp combo.

no way am i going to blow money on a dj mixer that doesn't have any eq's no matter how good it sounds!

lol in a couple posts before it, you said no eq- no thanks...

I would like it to have eqs too though.

I wonder if this new line is built with the exact same *components* as the original Harmon Kardon UREI's back in the day.

IF they are, then those mixers must be the cleanest mixers out.

hey chex i think it was u who mentioned the EQ killers by electrix....i got them on the urei and they are great!

the best part about them is they have crossover ...u can pick the frequency for the highs and lows that u want to cut/boost

there great!

Thats very true....but its a really nice unit. It just sucks that the eq will cost you more than the mixer!!
