192kb version of this on djmixes2k now

That looks very unimpressive to me. Just bog standard "prog" tunes that have all been played a bunch of times before. The Steve Porter set that was on Plattenleger earlier looks a whole lot better than this.

I def. agree!!!Jody needs an essential mix!
Please Tong make it happen
This set was broadcast at the beginning of the year and it still sounds nice and fresh

Yes, by all means, go check out Sporter if that floats your boat. This set's 4 months old, and you're not going to hear that demo of Killa anywhere else (and don't forget, he actually produced the track, so he has every right to do a little self-promotion ).

That is a valid point. Still pretty unimpressive looking though.

I enjoy getting the chance to hear classix with new facelifts, such as these...not to mention they help to infuse the set with a breakbeat mentality. The set nicely meanders through prog, electro-influenced house and breaks. If you're on the bleeding edge of the latest releases, then I might understand your perspective. However, I think the set covers a tad more than bog prog.

I'm not on the bleeding edge of new releases, but this TL is filled with the usual suspects and/or hits every "prog" dj and his dog are playing nowadays, the Demo Mix of Killa excluded. Try something else in there too, Steve Porter did it nicely. And ANOTHER mix of Plastic Dreams?

haha, fair point. I will give you that, but it's at least well done!

I hadn't been following many DJs when I heard this in January, so much of it was new to me at the time.
