How long have you been addicted?

I was wondering how long all of you have been into trance (not how long you've been on this site heheh). i'm not looking for an exact date, just an approximate number of years.

me, a couple years now,

getting more and more addicted each day...

Well I think i've been into the music for about 4-5 years.. but i became addicted about 3 years ago after i met ABT and we started sharing the same likes.. he liked way before i did though.. so yeah i think thats about the time.. heheheheh

'bout year and a half ago I started putting trance & electronic into my Winamp playlists. But my enlightment came somewhere along the last summer, when someone directed me to this site and talked about other trance too.

I wonder what you guys think "Trance" is, because I really don't think Trance already existed in 1993.....I voted 3 years because I believe Trance as we know it now, began somewhere around 1997/1998 or so. I am saying this because that's when the Trance underground parties started to be thrown here (um...Holland...Trance Nation??? )

anywayz, i started listening around 1998 or so...was into gabber/hardcore before that

I started producing in 1989 on Amiga with a program called Protracker.
Involved in the computer - scene i did tracks for demos and so called Crack - Intros.

Later i did some gamemusics for Softwarecompanies.
In 1992/3 i bought my first synth and started doing trance.
It took 1 year to release the first record. Good feedback and many compilations made the track " Schatten " become a small club - hit!

3-4 years i think. First cd i bought was Goliath 4 (DJ Tantana). And i though i rocked. When I listens to the cd today i think: "Damn, this trance suxx, I know 10 times better trance today!" But you have to start somewhere!!!

The first time I got into trance, was when I started raving back in summer of 99. I was literlly hooked after I heard System F - Out of the Blue. That song alone gave me a high! B4 that I was into Modern Rock, then Techno. But Techno was too repetetive in my opinion. Thank God for Trance!!!!

well if u can call Robert Miles's Dreamland CD from back in 96 trance, i picked it up in 97 and been addicted since....Children, i first heard on mtv and wasnt until some time later that i picked up the single then the album...

and that's what got me started Dreaming about trance

been browsing this site for about a little over a year now....found out after i d/l a tune off of napster with www_tranceaddict_com.mp3 in the file name...

damn, i dont realize how long i've been into trance!!!!...i remember when i listened to Ayla tunes and Greece 2000 from the days long ago.....(i still listen to Greece2000)

I've been addicted to trance since I was about 14/15 (I'll be 23 in 2 months)... I used to be really into piano house around the same time too, but as I grew older I became more and more into trance. I love how it's progressed and changed over the years. Dunno where I'd be without it today!
