Why did you quit swimming?

Posted by JM on Nov-27-2001 05:55:

swimming rocks!!! i love watching olympics and all kinds of championships, i'm planning on going to watch state championships for high school when it gets to that, a whole lot of fast swimmers swimming there!!!!!

i used to swim freestyle in HIgh School for 3 years...wasnt too into it though....

my fastest 50yard=45metres - 26sec, but i done better in a relay....
^^^^^^actually isnt very good at all!! (well good enought to get me into districts at high school)

my greatest swimming accomplishment: swimming the 50 yard freestyle sprint with only taking one breath....yes 1 breath!!!!!(something many olympians dont doo very freqently) i would've beat the competition and come in firstbut i messed up on my flip turn, came in 3rd with a time of 26something seconds.....sad

Holland has that reely good woman as well, what's her name????, sprinter i think but not sure...
also, Thorpe, although long distance, is still one of the best sprinters, he beat that American dude in final leg of the relay @ theose world champs a few months back, even after starting slightly behind!
