James Holden, Feb 10 @ Electric Circus [Adel]

The shaggy-haired producer extraordinaire returns on Thursday Feb 10 headlining Adelaides first ever Border Community event. Crossing traditional genre boundaries, James Holden has found fans in almost every scene. His tracks slot seamlessly into the sets of techno, trance, progressive and electro DJs alike. From pixie-trance to leftfield dance music, new wave house to melodic techno, the genre-classifiers have yet to find a label which accurately captures the unique yet universally appealing nature of Holden's music. The last time he played here in Oct 2003 has become one of this citys most talked about shows ever and a fitting swansong to Minke with Skylab bursting at the seams the entire night. It is only fitting then that he returns to scene of the crime, unleashed upon arguably the citys finest sound system down in the basement at Electric Circus. Strictly limited number of tickets will be available only on the door but be warned, this night will be off the hook!

"give that man a first!" - mixmag

And from James himself - describing his sounds as "Aphex Twin doing Ferry Corsten up the bum"

Ha Ha Your a trooper gumble.
This is the exact reason I turned down your recovery invite, I knew thats what would happen and as much fun as it is I did have to work on friday (even if I was 3 hours late)

PS. James Holden was amazing!
