I was just wondering if anyone is actually planning on going to UMF?

Cause I would love to take Michelle provded there is other TOTAs going

We are definitely going. We actually registered as delegates for the conference, because the early-bird registration of $159 gets you a $169/night rate at the host hotel (other hotels are twice the price - and it includes access to all the private parties, seminars and UMF.

Right now It's just me and Marcomarco, but we are hounding some friends who may also be joining us.

http://www.tranceaddict.com/wmc to get decent rates - also some peeps from the WMC forum have deals on a hotel by the bay for about $110 a night I think it was.

FYI, I booked my hotel in mid october... 2 days later, it was sold out.

The Wyndham isn't very far from the action... Only a 5 minute walk to a lot of the places you'd usually find yourself in Miami... And it's a beautiful place... and at the conference rate it's about half the price of other hotels in the area (at least the nicer ones.)

Just FYI, I booked a room at the Wave Hotel for $209 a night before the dates for the conference were confirmed (In September) and they actually called me back in December to say they wouldn't honour the reservation at that rate and wanted to charge me an extra $200/night because of WMC. (I think their rate was $440/night).

So, Wyndham it was!!!

Wyndham Miami Beach Resort is far off on the north end, over 6 miles away from ocean drive.. I wouldn't classify that as a 5 minute walk?

We finally got our tickets and hotel done today. It sure was a task!
Whoever is thinking about going, decide quick, and book your tickets and hotel soon. For the days we were shopping around, we have seen the rates increase daily.

yeah, booking the hotel was hell...but we finally found one on south beach for 120 a nite..i think its the holiday inn, but not sure

as for us, theres myself, pettiscool, dnmr, carney and shanqis going
