The Singles on TA

What's the deal with the singles available for download on TA? As in, who makes them?

Also, why is there a 5-letter minimum to search words? It seems rather constraining.

The singles are by the producers listed next to them. Most are fairly well known tracks & producers, with Cafe del Mar probably being the most played. TA got permission from them to use their songs on the site.

There's a lot of posts on this site, so there's gotta be some minimum for what to search, or else there would be way to many results to filter through.
