No Bookings til Spring?

Why aren't there any good bookings in the Toronto area for the next 2 months?? the people of the guv and other after hour clubs in that city should be ashamed of the bookings.. bring in some progressive talent..

OK like who wants to stand in the friggin cold line for any act right now

No way.....we're not going out to major parties until end of Feb or March.

Besides...January and Feb are always good times to catch up on movies and winter sports

A month and a half of good movies, booze, skiiing, skating and exercising isn't hibernating...it's taking time out for ourselves....

You should try it sometime.....it's great
It totally relaxes you and gets u ready for the next months ahead

Okay, but just because you've seen them before does not make them lousy bookings. I'm sure there are many who haven't seen them before. In all honesty, there's not a whole lot on that list that I myself am interested in - but I'm just demonstrating how far-fetched it is to be saying that the clubs should be "ashamed".

The clubs are trying to put out some variety for everyone - they're not catering to any single individual's personal taste. Thank God they're spending less time booking that soporific progressive crackhead shite that put me to sleep on so many nights during the 2003-2004 period. I think clubs are starting to realize that they attract fewer sketchpads when they play music that you don't have to be blasted out of your ever-loving mind in order to enjoy.

What IS a real party? Please tell me, because I happen to like a few tunes in my music, and I haven't heard any tunes in anything but trance, techno and acid house, everything else is random sounds and a drum beat to me. And unless it's DnB/Jungle, I'm never impressed.

Posted by b4k-oz on Jan-22-2005 21:43:

Hey Sander Kleinenberg was just here on NYE at system.

But it would be sweet if Lawler and Digger were here during the winter blues.

Posted by djbruuen on Jan-22-2005 21:56:

to dare getting flamed...

lawler is fuckin awesome!!!!

digweed isn't bad, but wouldn't make an effort to see him

and i just don't like sasha...i don't know, i've been bored during his sets.
