Actually it was announced on TTX's website in advance + I wrote in my thread in New Releases-forum. Plus, Paul releasing his edits is nothing new anymore either.

I wonder if he'll ever edit "The Horrist - One Night in NYC", "DJ Isaac - Face Down Ass Up" and "Roni Size - Brown Paper Bag"... that would bring him to a whole new deity level to me

It's The Horrorist
'bout the release... heh, if he released his edit of Holding Onto Nothing, that isn't too much surprising.
(the ol'SOB, why doesn't he release his remix of I Feel You instead?)

Hmm well, considering he has played as dodgy stuff as Lars Palmas - The Real Penetrator, who knows? I doubt that dropping Face Down Ass Up would do his rather pretentious profile much good though

i dont think you can edit "One Night In NYC" without ruining the creepiness :P

I'm waiting for his edit of Noemi - Y.O.U.

Sickest Bassline Ever!

It would end up like "One Night in Hackney"... the tune would not be half as creepy as the original tune, but it would either be hilarious or amazing because of that tune.

So it used to be something he simply did for his sets, which I thought was quite cool because he could add a small spin on an already quality tune and make it sound a little different than what most DJs were playing.

It's too bad that he's turned it into a cash cow now.

well i dont think its for cash, i doubt many people will get the release just for pauls edit.

People cant make up their minds if they want pauls edits released or not, and when they are released, people just bitch that its not a real remix so it shouldn't have been released. GAH!

Well the original intent was supposed to be for him to add his own small spin on a track correct? I thought they were only really for his livesets and mix cds and whatnot so him releasing them kind of leads me to believe he wants to just make a quick buck, I mean half the edits don't even have too much of a difference from the original track.....

????, if he wanted more $$ wouldnt he just sign more producers to his label like armin?

I love this song, didn't Jason Donavan do a remix with Kylie Minogue, with Kylie playing the bongo's and Jason doing nothing more than gulping down a rather overly diluted glass of Ribena ?

Don't you think releasing his edits is just a wee bit easier than signing new producers and all the work that comes with it?
