How much $$$ should I bring to WMC.?

Ive never been to WMC before & never pay with plastic only cash. I have some friend who have went in past years & they said $2k in spending money for 5-7 days(unincluding hotel). Thats what I plan on bringing. When I party its like a rockstar & can easily blow $300 on a Saturday night here in Chicago. So I was wondering what a good partying week at WMC may set me back & if my friends are accurate &/or I need more.

BTW I do plan on attending Ultra & any if not as much as I can of the good partys & clubs.

bring 2 grand and extra u can always bring back..
some advises:
buy tickets in advance to save time/hassle and lines...
keep cash for cab rides, drinks, tips, food, etc..

Personally, the hotel is paid for, I plan on buying most of my tickets pre-sale so pretty much all I need is food/drink/taxi money...

It does help that I don't drink or do anything else but Red Bull and cigarettes....

At this point, I don't know how much I am going to bring down....But I figure 1000-1500 should cover it....with a ton to spare as well...
