Uh oh.. Pop up light..

Ok.. I replaced the pop up light in one of my turntables. Upon taking the other one apart, I noticed that the Pop Up Light doesn't lock when it is pushed down? It just slides back up (the spring). Could anyone shed some light on this problem? I have 1200s but it shouldn't matter.

It has been a while since I did all the LED replacements in my tables, but I do know that the popup mechanism is very simple. I don't remember exactly how it works since I am not looking at one, but fixing it should be no problem at all.

I know this wasn't any information, but the only thing I can tell you is that if you take it out and look at it, it will be obvious why it doesn't work and easy to fix.

Yeah.. I know how to replace them. I don't know how the mechanism locks without looking at one as an example.
