Israeli ISP's

Hey, the moment we've got here we checked out a numerous providers and they all stank. Like, you need one company to provide the cable and another to provide the internet, was such non-sense. So, we're curently on Beziq/012 or something (dangit I don't know anymore!) and the upload is just nasty.

I want to do live-sets with video, but I just don't have the upload nor cash to buy a freakin 200 dollar business line! Are there any ISP's that service a normal download/upload line at a decent price?

First, if you're a bezeq member, you should have ADSL, not cables. (and it's better than cables).

The best Israeli ISP is called Netvision (http://www.netvision.net.il) expensive prices, but the best service.

1.5mbit is enough for live-video-sets... if you have a webcam you can easily play live sets arround the network

I had 1.5mbit (now i've 2.5mbit) ... 1.5 is ok!

No no no I mean that my Dad went through many companies like Zahav, Hot and stuff like that.

Plus I mean 1.5mbit download, the upload is 96kbit, which is like 12kbytes.. I need something like 20-30 kbytes upload, 300kbit+

As I told you, the best ISP is Netvision.

I know what is 1.5mbit, yes upload speed is 12-13kb\sec and download speed is 180kb\sec.
It's enough for you!

But if you still wanna try a faster connection try my connection - 2.5mbit. Upload speed isn't 30kb\sec but around 19-22kb\sec.
I pay 99$ per month for the ISP and 500NIS per month for the line provider. I think 1.5mbit is enough for you

well yah all IL ISP's kinda suck... so you dont have much choice....

i've checked the Bezeqint site.. if you get cable (1.5mbit) you get 128kbit upload, which isn't much either.... im currently on 2mbit downloading at 270kbps and maxing at 14kbps upload...
not much you can do i guess.. cause almost all providers are limited to 96kbps since the bandwidth in israel still isn't at its best...

im assuming that in years to come (im guessing 3 years from now) we'll start seeing faster and faster upload rates.. but in the meantime thats what we have to deal with..

Its not a Finland or Sweden here, where ppl have 10mbit AT HOME!

Leon, as i ve understood u - u want smth like this ive wrote above [Telia or how do they call it] and in this case the one and only answer for ya is a Buisness line which is pretty fuckin expansive, so...

ps:btw ppl here care more about download rates than upload - u can call them leechers but its a reality...

dont trust any one in this buisness and at all the buisness.
the prices are high and there is no reason why!
the sarvice fuck no matter where...
but i think netvision is the best

1.5mbit is enough for live-video-broadcast!!! try it! and if you think it's not enuogh try 2.5mbit...
