The Good: Personally I thought the production was fantastic. You really know what you're doing in the studio. Great melody and great harmonizing. Your sounds are clean and work very well with one another. The track flows the way a trance track should...

The Bad: ...but it sounds like nearly every other stereotypical trance track out there. I always look for originality in a track.. especially if I'm gonna play it at a club. I don't mean to sound harsh, but I honestly wouldn't play this track or even consider it for purchase.. it's just the same type of sound that's been used for the last 5 years.

Overall: Great track! Very good job! Impressive production... just lacks the originality most DJs are looking for, IMO.

BTW, the link is extremely tempermental... may be why you haven't received many comments. I know it took me several tries to get it to connect

Cheers!

I really like this track. Good sounds and I like the flow of the track. Cant really suggest many improvements since I'm not this good yet but I think maybe make the kick a little softer and louder? Although this is just my oppinion.

Nice track overall. Good work!

I would put up a better link to the actual mp3 itself if I knew of some webspace to put it on..

Thanks for your comments Dizc, what you said about originality is definately taken to point and is what I'm applying to my works in progress. I actually finished this track a while ago and just posted it up now, but this track was a big milestone for me production-wise.

wasup,
everything sounded pretty good. the only thing that i didnt like so much was the progression of the song. it kinda felt like.... its coming... just a few more... still goin....
The synths and stuff sounded pretty nice. the only thing i would work on is your beat structure. other than that good job.

Peace.

gated "saw pads" sound entirely too synthetic and abrupt, should place a little bit of decay on the gating and possibly some reverb... the rest of the elements sound fine... percussion could use a little more panning.... some fx would be nice too

definately a very stereotypical track, ASOT type stuff, but it's good for the kind of style you were going for

great work.
