Who else wants that Paul Oakenfold releases a trance artist album?
Is there such a possibility at all? Would like to hear some trance productions by Oakie..
Isnt he going to release an artist album this year?
But dunno if it will be trance album...
I doubt he does much of the production that he credits himself for anyways, so no.

Riiight. Before you commit slander, do you actually know what goes on in Oakenfold's studio, or are you just repeating what you've heard from some other idiot on a forum somewhere? Because, unless you do, you're breaking the law and are an idiot to boot.
hmm
nobody knows what actually goes on in Oakenfold's office except the insiders and you and I are not they. However you made a highly ignorant blanket statement, as it is common knowledge who does Oakenfold's work. The man spends too much time promoting, recruiting and doing gigs to produce much anymore.
ergo
think before you generalize
because you know way less than you think you do.

Oh yeah, I would rather not see an Oakenfold artist album because I don't like his productions, but another mix compilation would be nice to make up for The Club soundtrack.

| Originally posted by flavdave I've heard of the Mr. Sam and Fred Baker dispute and that is a completely different situation than Oakenfold, Tiesto, Sasha or whatever DJ someone says doesn't do shit in the studio. Oakenfold, Tiesto, and Sasha all give credit to the people that help them produce their tracks, and I have more faith in the liner notes of their releases than speculation on an internet forum by people who know nothing of what goes on inside the studio unless it comes straight from the producers themselves. So until Charlie May, Junkie XL, Cor Fijneman, Steve Osbourne, and Andy Grey come forward and say that the those guys didn't contribute at all, I am going to trust the writing credits. |
i'm pretty sure that the new artist album will be much in the same style as the last one. oakenfold has said that he is saving the trancish tunes for the remixes of the album...so probably a lot like last time...
"last time" meaning Bunkka??
i cringe at the thought.
oakenfold sold his soul to the american market. on that release anyway.
clarification:
I'm a huge fan of Oakey. just not of bunkka and anything that sounds like it.
