Love is in the air Sugar Gliders

*****Has anyone ever heard of this Cute freakin' animal called a sugar glider??

A gurlfriend of mine just purchased one this weekend. They usually run for about $300 - btu she got her's for $100!! the q-t bouy sugar gliders name is K-Os! - so freakin' adorable.

these are two males in the cage!

But the female sugarglider has a pouch at the front just like a kangaroo to hold their babies!

They love to hang out in little pouches to bond with the owner!

so Q-ute! [IMG]

when they fly they expand and look like this!

One of my friends had Sugar Gliders. Very cute little rascals. They make this high-pitched squeak sound when they feel scared, like when they're in the little pouch in the cage where they sleep. Very soft fur.

Nobody likes Turbo

A girl I lived with in Vancouver had one that died. Then she got a new one. They sleep all day. She wore it in a pouch around her neck. They're very small and cute and soft.

And they glide from people to couches and stuff. Very cool to see!

She put it in a cage at night, and it was very noisy.

That's the thing when you get these kind of pets.. seems cool, but then they start crapping all over the place, making noise, destroying your house, and end up costing you your whole paycheck on all these funky foods they need.. Someone who owned a jungle cat said it was a full-time job keeping it, ended up costing alot of $$

WTF???

Like this? http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/Northeast/10/04/nyc.tiger/

I agree with your comments about the gliders. They pee on you to mark territory. Go through heat like cats, and there are very few vets who understand their biology and care. Read up and do your research before you commit to an exotic pet!
