Ok dream where I woke up trying to kill myself

So ive been sleeping more and more on my stomach these days..dunno why. Im a side sleeper usually.

Ill lots of times wake up to find that im sleeping mummy style on my stomach and my hands have fallen asleep. I always wake up with no feeling in something...

this morning at 3 am I felt something grab my throat and I woke up in pitch black and grabbed this huge writhing thing I thought was a rat or something and started throwing it around for about 5 seconds flipping and crashing around my bed trying not to yell and then it stopped moving.

as my eyes slowly adjusted I realized I was grabbing my left arm in a death grip around the forearm.

It had ZERO feeling from my neck to my finger tips...I held on until I could feel it again. My dead arm had been trying to kill me. scared the shit out of me and I laid there for about 15 minutes to make sure it wouldnt try to kill me again...

this happen to anyone else?

I've fallen asleep on top of my arms and woken up with them completely asleep and had to flop around like a fish out of water to get off of them, but I've never had one of them try and strangle me.

When I wake up lying on my arm, there's no feeling and I can't move it at all. I have to wait and can actually feel the blood flow back into my arm, and suddenly I can move it again. Weird how it could grab your throat

yup, I had the same problem with my trouser snake. It has a mind of it's own & will probably stab me in teh pooper when im not ready for it. Watch your back buddy.

think of it is a gift - you'll be able to enjoy masterbation better than any other guy - provided you get on your arms good side

lol. i had this a few times... once i woke up, lifted my head from the pillow, and i thought my ear just fell off the side of my head.

but what it was, after rolling around asleep, i ended up laying on my back, with my arms behind my head, in a sort of relax position, and my head was resting on my hand [which was round the back of my head].
and my ear was resting on my hand, so anyways cos of the weight of my head, my hand/arm was dead, then cos my ear was on my wrist or whereever it sorta suckered off of my wrist [like when you pull a sucker off from glass] but cos my arm was dead i didnt feel it on my arm, so as i lifted my head from [what i thought was ..]the pillow it felt like my ear just got pulled off of my head. definatly the strangest feeling i ever woke up too, and thats after waking up in many bushes and/or next to plentiful fat girls.

Well if I was a virgin in my 2wentys I would probably do the same thing.

OK jk. Thats really weird. It might have something to do with your arm falling asleep & lack of circulation, with the combination of a really weird dream. Maybe try videotaping yourself sleeping to find out exactly whats going on.

Yes, I've woken up with my hand down my pants. Is that so wrong? IS THAT SO WRONG!?

Posted by Krypton on Jan-25-2005 23:47:

yes, one time i had come out of deep sleep, it was the morning, around 10am. i never opened my eyes, but it felt like someones hand was stroking my face. it was my right arm which was asleep and the hand had fallen on my face. but before i knew this, i tried to take my right arm, which i didnt know was asleep to try to grab what was stroking my face. to find out i had no control of my right arm and that it was the stroker of face.

so i was thinking...

when this happened to you orbax...your hand was still in the dream world...so maybe you were controlling it in your dreams and then other parts of you started to wake up and fight the dream world...until you finally woke up completely

crazy stuff hehehe

Posted by Krypton on Jan-25-2005 23:59:

what exactly is the dream world? is it the spiritual world for which many people deny exist?

it's the place where freddy crugar lives. in fact...i think it was freddy controlling orbax's hand through his dreams

ok but what i was really gettin at is. our minds are functioning as we sleep. we unknowingly control things like motor functions while in a sleep state. so i was just thinking...if orbax hand was still asleep...maybe somehow that's why he was fighting off his hand...because his conscious mind wasn't controlling it and his subconcious was...

i dunno...i was just saying some crap...but it would be interesting if that was possible hehehe

when your hand is asleep, it means its temporarily dead. No blood/oxygen is getting to the muscles, making it impossible/REALLY hard to move anything

but what about when you are asleep and you start sleep walking or something? obviously your limbs aren't dead when you're asleep in that situation are they?

Posted by Radagast on Jan-26-2005 00:20:

You probably had a stroke.

Seriously though, reminds me of that one time when I woke up and I was trying to choke the hell out of some really big snake that had one huge eye. Apparently it was some kind of spitting cobra because it eventually shot its venom directly into my eyes. Needless to say I survived, and the snake and I are now meeting every Tuesday at 10 PM.

no, because if that were so, the cells in your hand would begin to die, and by the time you'de wake up, it be all gangreenous. rather, the pressure being applied to the extremity is also putting pressure on the nerve. and pressure on the nerve for an extended amount of time would result in delayed or very little signaling travelling through it, resulting in numbness, and tingling.
