Track starts of good but i aint keen on the kick drum, needs a bit more punch.

EQ and that is out but thats because u aint mastered it yet
Synth's sounded a bit weak for vanguard? maybe need a bit more punch.

Song gets nice after the breakdown, kinda like chilled out uplifting trance.
Overall though keep the work up on it and who knows!

Thanks, first of all, for your reply!

The only thing I did with Vanguard are the pads. The lead synth is a software JP-8000-version. Can't get more punch in that I'm afraid. The Lead-Sine is PolyIblit.

Anyway, I changed it a bit.
What have I done exactly:
quote:
- 2nd basstone lower.
- Bass some more depth and decay.
- Bit less compression on the kick/hihats; better climax.
- More FX, like some little snare-rolls and some little hihat FXs.
- Full new snare-roll.
- Kick a bit deeper and harder.
- Clap bit better for the climax.
- CHH on the kick little less velocity and better on the kick.
- Some more little rests, makes it less boring :P
- 2nd climax deleted.
- Chorus on that lead-sine.
- Pad little softer; better in the climax, gives it a bit more strength.

So, I uploaded this new version. It's available under the same link. Hope you guys like it!

You think it's worth to try some labels with this track?

Well, in 4 days time, I got 1 reply that helped me. Are you guys afraid of reviewing it? I don't understaind. I reviewed other people's music, so that couldn't be the problem. The server is very fast, you don't have to log in or anything.

Please..

Yeah, you did, and thanks for that, but most people here don't go to clubcharts, and maybe I could use some help from them.

Ok, I realy don't understand, I always give giant reviews, and I got 112 views, and just ONE review (thanks DJ Twenty!!), bit unfair maybe?
Are you all lazy people? If someone makes a good track everyone reviews it with: 'Great track' and stuff. But you are too lazy to help somebody when a track is not that good.

Ooh, thank you guys! *blinks tear away*

I'll give the track some small improvements (also see CC) and then I will try to finish a new track! Dunno if it's gonna be a remix or another own track, depents on my ideas.

I like it
Some of the elements really remind me of Yahel productions, the bassline, ... use of percussion I think the kick is good the way it is and the build-up is rock solid.

Overall, a great production. Still think it's a little on the boring side, but it sure has great potential Maybe expand the melody with a little extra, a wider string section or something!

Wow, completely lush percussion in this one - the filtered panning ride cymbal is sweet.
I like the arps build and the cool melody comes in over the top, but i'm not a big fan of the chord progression, there are a few weak changes there.
Great arrangment, the production sounds really confident and professional.

Thank you very much.

Yeah, I heard more comments about the chords, I made it a bit flatter. That should fit better. I'll try to update it very soon.
It's good to hear you find it professional
I'm already working on a next track, maybe that will be even better than this one, I hope. :P

Thanks for your replies guys!
