Question Iraqi Elections

There coming up soon(this sunday even?) i havent heard any reports on who is running etc. so if anyone knows anything about can you post it up.


this can be the iraqi elections for dummies thread.

Who cares as long as Iraqis have the right to choose who they want. That's why the US is there in the first place. They can vote Mike Tyson into office for all I care.

Iraq is still a battle zone. The only Iraqis voting in this thing are the ones overseas. All the polls and interviews i've seen show very few citizens in Iraq even know who the canidates are.

Supposedly there are over 100 different parties running, and no one really knows anything about the candidates. It's basically a Neo-Con photo-op. All show, no go for the Iraqi's.

I really feel sorry for those people.

I didn't know that they were the architects of our war in Iraq. Were they commanding Rummy or Cheney?
