Wow, I'm really enjoying this! I would have done the intro and outro a little bit differently, maybe more progressively, something softer fading into the drum. But that's just me being anal, so please don't listen to a word that I say.

It's definitely first class!

hey, this remix sounds pretty good... there were some things that were good and some things that could be worked on...

first of all... i'd like to say that your overall sound is pretty good. each on of the instruments you used is very dymnamic. your mastering is pretty good as well. kick sounds very full.... and hi hats/percussion stands out enough like it needs to be.

couple of things that i think you could work on... make the percussion more interesting... it sounds too much like a track from 1998, with the long kick rolls, and the simple hi hat pattern. add more different types of percussion in, there is just not enough. secondly, make and use more sound effects. having things sweeping in, or hitting and echoing off. get creative with some simple sounds (percussion, pre-made effects, samples etc.) and try to use your program to make crazy effects. also your transitions from part to part are a bit rough. it is a tech mix so it doesn't necessarily have to be as smooth or flow as nice, but some of the transitions just seem a little abrubt. another thing to try is to let some parts build and progress. the structure of the track could be rearranged differently and built a little bit better.

overall i'd say pluses are the fullness of the sounds and instruments, the mastering, and i liked how you introduced the main lead(its a really nice instrument u used). minuses, it sounds too much like pre 2000. long drum rolls, simple percussion, no sound effects. hope some of my comments helped..

p.s. what program are u useing to produce, and also if u did master or do any compression, what did u use to do that with?

first of all, good work. its a decent mix... not really playable, but there is def. potential... like hai lee mentioned above, the beat sounds too plain... sorta like oldschool trance kick drums.. fuck around with some more percussion and the bassline could be done differently but its not too bad.. what i didnt like much was the breakdown and the drop... there isnt much suspense and the drop is a bit weak... no surprises really. overall feel of the track was impressive tho, i liked your approach.. i can see you making some proper stuff in like a year or 2. keep it up ~

sounds pretty good overall. (may be becasue I am into tech trance lately)

but there's something in this song just don't feel right. Sounds like you multiple tracks combining together...it can sound much better if you can make the transition smoother i guess....

I am not really a big fan of Alt+F4 - Alt+F4, but tech. mix would be awesome...

thanks for the replies and feedback. This mix was kind of rushed. I did it in 1 day. And then didnt really touch it , after hearing it in my friends whip it killed my ears. Then a few days later a dj from holland requested a more dj friendly version to play at arise next friday So i quickly made an intro & outro and was inspired to finish it. The mastering was just done with T-racks on shitty speakers, reason 2.5 , and other shit.. The thing about the effects, i usually just add that after but currently my computer is too slow and there is too much shit going on this ALT+F4 program, the drums i can rearrange no problem. So im gonna have to run in the studio at my school and load it in. Then i can finish it off.. Effects are not as important as the synths and main stuff.. cause u can always overdub easily. Anyways i really appreciate you guys took your time on really giving me some real feedback.

So why did I post a rushed, ok quality track.. My ideas and my style is shown in some aspects of this track. I wanted to see peoples reactions , and if they were good enough I would work harder on it and send to ajuana or however u spell it. I been producing so much these days i need some feedback or ill go crazy.

more music to come

Jay

ps: rushing is like 14 hours straight of producing .. Not rushing is like months.. hehe
