I mean, the one you like most, cuz of memories, cuz you had to look for it a long time, or any other reason......

Mine would be Paul Van Dyk - For an Angel, just luuvvvv it

Fire & Ice - Souvenir De Chine (Promo Vinyl)

Posted by Fallbrook on Nov-03-2001 16:30:

For me it would be Slide vs. Healy- Wicked Behaviour... main reason being there's only 999 being pressed... its kinda cool when you have a limited press vinyl... something about it...

damn right!!! even more when there's only 100 or less (as with some Promo Only or picture discs). Makes me feel better than the rest
But it's scary to take these to parties with you...always afraid they could brake or be stolen.....!

Cool

Has to be System F - Out Of The Blue, both TSUNAMI vinyls, original mixes, and remixes.

Hello! best lp eh?

Hmmm..this is a hard one...i'd have to say the best record i have...for giving the crowd a real feel for what i am feeling and getting them trance-happy is prob "George Acosta presents M.A.G. feat. Grim Reaper"...both sides are a trip...but the logoside is where the crowd frenzy comes from

Posted by GrimReaper on Nov-04-2001 01:08:

actually my most precious vinyl isn't trance but i like it very much anyway.
It's The Prodigy - Earthbound 1 (white label)
it's very very very very rare (and expensive today).i have always been a big fan of prodigy and i got this from my very good friend as a birthday present in 93. i would sell all my records before this. it has some early versions of some tracks on "music for the jilted generation".
my most precious trance vinyl is Chicane-Offshore EP signed by Nick Bracegirdle himself.

Fortunately, NO.
But I was there when it happened to 2 of my fellow DJs. Once they stole DJ Trance M's records OUT OF THE DJ BOOTH (!). And Arne LII's records where once "lost" on an airplane trip.
Sux!

It's always lovely to own Fire999 releases, and I've always been so pysched on rushing out to beat the crowd before they are snapped up. But I did not come to know about Fire999 until 2 months ago, when my brother told me that he had Cass & Slide's Glad I Ate Her...man that just blew me away, owning a masterpiece like that is really rare now for most of us. However (with a on my face), these recent weeks, I've managed to acquire these precious little gems and placed them safely into my record box:

Ben Shaw - So Strong (Fire999 / ERIFN 001)
Cass & Slide - Glad I Ate Her (Fire999 / ERIFN 003) > Favourite One!
Cass & Slide - The Italian Job (Fire999 / ERIFN 005)
Hellpass - Little Cheeky Clouds (Fire999 / ERIFN 006)
Slide Vs Healy - Wicked Behaviour (Fire 999 / ERIFN 007)

Anyways, I got a few precious classics too:

DJ Tiesto - Sparkles (BlackHole Recordings) > Signed by DJ Tiesto
Way Out West - Intensify 2LP (Distinctive) > Signed By Nick Warren
Lost Tribe - Gamemaster/ Under the Red Sea (Hooj Choon Promo)
Pulser - CloudWalking (Deleted classic)

Cheers

That sux !!! How many did each have w/ them??

I don't own any records yet, but I can imagine how much that must hurt to have a chunk of your collection stolen. I'm sure it's hard to justify spending a bunch of $$ buying back a lot of the tracks that are outdated, when you can use that $$ to get new/fresh stuff.

man proabably

MAD DOGS - SUDDEN JOURNEY

Posted by Lost on Nov-06-2001 03:44:

cj bolland - the prophet (dj promo on ffrr)

that is my absolute favorite record because it took me two years to find it. and even then i didn't even find it. my friend gave it to me. so i gave him veracocha - carte blanche, tilt - children (breeder mix), and underworld - born slippy in return. he was kinda happy but he's a junglist so i think he would rather have jungle tracks but he's an old skool party kid so he loves the trance too. he just loves jungle more. he took me to my first party back in 1997 and we've been partying ever since. feels good to have great friends like that. know what i mean?
