Doves - Some Cities, brilliant new album!!
Hey all,
anyone heard this fantastic new album from the popular "Doves" - alternative rock I think its classified as? Im pretty n00besque with this stuff, but I have loves Doves since I heard "Pounding" - their new album is absolutely awesome!
'Black And White Town' and 'Snowden' are my favourite tracks.
Anyone else here love their stuff? anybody heard of The Kaiser Chiefs as well (no not the south african football team)
Cheers lads!
Anyone want me to make samples?
Yes please
Have both Lost Souls and The Last Broadcast, love them both, even if the former is a fraction better.
are these the same "Doves" that work with Matthew Dekay?

on a side note I went to see them in december, and they were fan-fucking-tastic
Someone gave me an advanced copy of it, its not out for another couple of weeks, deffo gonna buy it tho for sure
Amazing band, Lost Souls is exceptional.
Heard Sub Sub - Past for the first time recently on Nick Warren's Back to Mine cd, great track. The only other Sub Sub song I've heard is Space Face which is decent too.
I'm a massive Doves fan, just wondering what their other Sub Sub stuff is like - any recommendations?
If you like Doves I'd also suggest checking out Elbow, Station Approach was one of the best songs of any genre in 2006.
