Petition to add the Canadian Red Ensign flag

Please add the Canadian Red Ensign to the list of flags.

It's the true flag of Canada, not the current Lieberal rag.
















Personally I think this is the best one:

We should have "personalised flag" option... and I like this flag better than the mapple one

Anyway, if you're Canadian, what's the story behind the Italian flag?

I refuse the fly the current "Canadian" flag. About 30 years ago, members of the Lieberal Party decided to get rid of the Red Ensign, our flag for about 100 years. The people of Canada were not consulted in their decision. The current flag has no meaning to anyone, and is used as propaganda. There are also issues involving Quebec seperation.

you are wrong.its all a lie. We didnt have a real flag until 1965. And while we are part of the commonwealth, we are autonomous enough to not have the union jack on our flag.
the flag you claim to support has quebec but doesnt have representation from teh west at all. Its part of the past, not of the present.(or should we still be under the union jack to you?)

The Red Ensign was the de facto flag of Canada. It represents the history and traditions of our country.

The current flag means absolutely nothing - and it was never approved by the people.

The current flag has nothing to do with the past or present. It's a fake, made-up rag.

More evidence that the Red Ensign is the true flag of Canada, and that it has a historical basis in the traditions of our country..

Anyway, I agree with Lira about personalized flags. Individual choice is best.

Let's see here, the tories had the same flag, they never changed it when they were in power, neither did all of the other governments since 1965. To say you are militant in your views is an understatement. Look dude, the official flag of Canada is the maple leaf and I say till someone changes it, which I doubt will happen, then TA will add it.

The Red Ensign has maple leaves in it, as well as Fleur-du-Lys and other symbols.

The Red Ensign isn't Britain's symbol, it's OUR symbol. It's part of our history and traditions.

You think a flag defines a country?

Canadians are proud of who we are and no flag will change that. Find more important things to waste energy on, like solving world hunger or something
