quiet monday morning...
what is this, all of NYTA recovering from some kickass weekend? how were your weekends... i know a lot of you went to TFST, but you must've done other things too.
as for me, no i didn't go to TFST... i still can't move my car without further thawing, or actual shoveling done so i didn't go anywhere. just played xbox and watched return of the king... and it's back to work today 
Going to work on monday morning sucks

happy monday indeed! all i have done is work and work and work for weeks now. i took today off

slowww start to the beginning of the week...so slow in fact im not even at work today.

For some reason a few friends of mines found it appropriate at 4:30pm sunday evening to drive out and catch the twilight runs at mt. creek. Now the drive is only like 45minutes (thank god) but inorder to fully get our $30 worth, we'd have to stay until closing 10pm.
Nonetheless all day saturday spent recovering from my drinking binge at TFST. What a great saturday it was, and oh how quickly sunday came. Sunday I spent the day figuring out when i would return to queens to my parents house and plan my sunday evening cleaning and laundry session. NOT! These crazy kids explain to me that they are on their way to pick me up with my board to go snowboarding, and frankly, how could I resist. Strapped in and caught 3hrs at MT Creek for some late sunday runs. Didn't get home til close to 1am~ish only to be awaken by my 5:50am alarm. It felt great let me tell you!
Now I'm sitting here at work all bored n shit with no emails, plenty of work I don't want to do, and a really slow TA. Cmon spice up my noon
oh well. my weekend was fun!
on saturday night i had a choice - Either Roger Sanchez at Crobar or Pierre Boulez at Carnegie Hall. I chose the last one and it was excellent. I enjoyed it a lot.
And.. i found out that i'm gonna be a mom, part time so far but still.
All Sunday we were picking the names for boys and girls and this is final - Solange for a girl and Patrice for a boy. We have to keep our French heritage, right?
Well normally I would be lurking on this thing all day but today my psycho boss felt he needed to be extra psycho this morning to the pointof yelling at me for going to the fucking bathroom. So I have a pile of work to do still and am most likely not gonna get out of here until 7 tonight, keep in mind this is all shit he gave me at 11 am this morning (when he desided to roll into the office) but since he's such a fucking hound I spend more time explianing to him what I have done, cause he has no idea about shit then actually doing work. Don;t even get me started about the jackass, I could go on for fucking pages. 
Anyway spent a lovely weekend with my boyfriend who is at home sick with mono
Hope everyone elses Monday is going better then mine
fri night went out partyin and met a buncha new people.
sat had a party at my place and everyone kept bitchin they wanted hear hip hop. beh screw them. anyways some dickface decided it would have been funny to put a phonebook in my washermachine and turn it on. i didn't know about it at the time and a bucha girls actually cleaned it up for me. it was kinda funny cause they were all drunk and covered in wet phonebook pages for a while. i felt bad they had to clean it up. as for the kid i'm going back and forth on how much revenge i feel like taking. i'm trying to be fogiving but i just don't see that happening. Any good ideas?
right now just chillin in my room doing hw and about to update the resume for a career fair on wed. fri night was good. sat night sucked.

It wasn't a quiet Monday for me. It was actually a very noisy, hectic one. The whole day was spent on various meetings, one of which was a UFT union meeting during which the talk of a strike in the future was in the air.
Also lots of drama going on in the math department in my school. The head of the math department has basically been having a nervous breakdown the past few weeks. Her job is so stressful...makes my job seem so easy...almost.

I work sundays, so technically thats my monday. Today was more like a tuesday... That lost day of the week that doesnt hold any significant position at all. At least I have friday's off.
For the past 2 days I have done none on my own work and have been covering for some idiot that has been out sick and he blames not coming in on his child because he is a parent and his child goes to Catholic School and they have certain other days off that public school doesnt have. The fucked up thing is...I am a parent too and I make it to work. Last week the same guy was out all week, and the week before I covered him on Friday, and Monday. He has a pattern of not coming in on Fridays and Mondays. I hope someone notices and fires him because If I am going to be doing him job all the time I might as well get his paycheck.
