What gear should i buy next?

So got some extra money and i was thinking about spending it on some studio-gear. Can anybody recomend me some stuff that would look nice next to my virus c? I got aprox 1k$

What do you guys think about the roland juno 106? Good analog synth or just old crap? Or meaby a Nordlead 2?

Im bored so i need something new to tweak.

i think a 10k investment would be abit more logical if u were to invest that into real estate as an investment...but w/e ur choice

But if i'd suggest something...i'd go with Korg Triton along with there MicroKorg

Since you already got a virus, i'd go for new monitors. Or a bass synth or drum machine.

if you want something to tweak then go look for a used Hartmann Neuron (althlugh it might still be to pricey but it might be worth checking out anyway

doesn't it look sweet and tweakable
it's a monster from what I've heard anyway

with 1k why not go for a phat analogue mono synth? you might be able to get a sequential pro one with that. its high maintenance and its hard to track down parts for it. treat it well and it'll make the sickest synth basses you will ever hear.

because VA's, especially modern ones are far more advanced than old MIDI controlled analogue synth, plus you stated another reason "its high maintenance and its hard to track down parts for it."

once again. theres more to synthesis than just analogue synths. and virtual analogue synths. what about digital ones? FM synths? physical modelling synths? sample playback synths? additive synths? digital pianos?

theres tonnes. and yet so many dance producers are fixated on THAT analogue sound. analogue is great. but theres are certains things you will NEVER EVER be able to do with it. one of them is model real life instruments accurately. and yet one of my favourite dance music sounds are from classic house piano keyboards. id love that sound. rather than just keep buying up more VAs i would wanna try something different - ive already got a virus b. if i wanted a new synth i would want something a virus would never be able to do. why? it broadens my sonic palette. ive got more varied sounds i can put into songs.
