Cd5"
whats the deal with CD5"s
are they vinyls or CD's
Cds..hence the letters.
cd 5" = cd singles, 5" being the size, there are 3" ones which fit 21mins (and who is more popular in asia)
ahhhh...
so....
maybe I dont have to download all those tunes after all...
I can buy them
do they rip as well as a normal CD?
Um, they are regular CDs.

alright alright settle down.
just one more question...
why does discogs insist on saying CD5" instead of just CD
they use the term CD5" for cd SINGLES. just CD denotes that it is a full release, an entire album. on a CD5" you will probably find 1-5 remixes of the same track, while on a CD you will find 10+ different songs.
razzi.

no worries thanks for that
wouldn't it be because of the 3" versions?
to say just CD means it could be either, and that would be not specific enough for a site like Discogs, so they specifiy that it is CD5"
CD-maxi = CD5 I think
We in Holland mostly have 2 types, the one with radio edit and extended and one with remixes, the last one is CD5
