All right, the reason why I'm posting this here instead of the buy/sell forum is because this offer is good only for people in GTA. I don't wanna bother shipping this damn thing anywhere and would prefer a pickup/delivery in the city instead.

Here are the specs of the comp I've built as a production studio (audio/video), with most of the components being almost brand new (hard drive, dvd burner, etc), but which I have to abandon for the time being:

Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2600+ (2.0 GHz)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-7VT600 (up to 3GB RAM, 2xE/IDE Ultra DMA/133 slots, 6 USB ports + 2 optional, onboard 6 channel integrated sound, onboard 10/100 NIC, onboard Firewire 2 x IEEE1394 ports, 1 AGP 8x/4x slot, 6 320bit PCI slots)
Memory: 512MB PC2700 SDRAM
Hard Drive: 120GB Ultra-ATA Maxtor 7200rpm (brand spankin' new!)
Video: ATI Radeon 64MB DDR (with TV-out)
Audio: M-Audio Audiophile 2496 ($200 value!)
CD/DVD: Lite-On DVD+/-RW (LDW-451s) - CD (up to 40x) + DVD (up to 4x) burner in one
Connectors: IEEE 1394/USB 2.0/D-Link DE-530+ PCI Ethernet Adapter
Mouse: Microsoft USB Optical Wheel Mouse
Keyboard: Logitech Access Keyboard
Monitor: Dell 19" P990 Trinitron
Case: Black aluminum case with a see-through window side cover and a side fan

If you are looking to get into audio/video production or something along those lines, this baby monster will be more than a perfect starting point for you... Now, the moment you've been all waiting for... the asking price --> $800 CDN. Will drop off to anywhere in Scarboro/Downtown Toronto area, but pick up is fine as well.

I'd rather not ship it, but if I have to (since the monitor is heavy) it's gonna be at buyer's expense... (and it might get expensive).

just to add on that, I've got another 17" silver/black monitor (silver front, black side/back cover), which would actually be a perfect match for the case (case being black itself), so if someone would rather get that one instead I'll take off $30 off the total price.

they have a canada only (and very GTA/GVA specific imo) buy/sell forum for both computer stuff and non-computer stuff.

i'd suggest posting your rig there.. just higher amounts of traffic looking to get a deal on pc stuff.

yep.. RFD is run by some good guys (jaypatel & derek), I used to do toronto-specific trading @ thecomputermechanics too, but they have an iron pole up their ass and are no fun to deal with.

and just to remind you, there's a choice of two different monitors with this, either a silver/black 17" (matches the color of the case) or a white/gray (or whatever the hell you call that usual colour they come in) 19".

offers above $700 for the whole package (comp. + monitor) are welcome...
