Pretty unique way to post a tune man.

Anyways, build is nice although I don't think you need that cheesy synth . Love the dark atmosphere you have. Almost worldly. Nice ambiance to the whole tune. I like it and I think it has potential to rival Echano on some levels. BUT, having said that, the percussion is none existent and the kick is really hard to make out. If that was intentional then fair enough but if not, pretty basic error. However, I do like the bongos.

I liked the bongos too! Cool song I thought.

Posted by EtherealSL on Feb-03-2005 14:36:

tabla is definately a nice touch (it's what those indian bongos are called)

Posted by Gladius on Feb-03-2005 15:56:

wow! very original, me likes! =)

Great to see you fixed almost all points of criticism... it think the rest is just a matter of taste. I like the track a lot how it is ... this is very unique, dreamlike stuff. The rather soft kick fits the track very well. I suppose you're getting the highest rating from me for this is definately one of the most atmospheric and in a way extremely dreamlike tune I've heard in here. You should get deeper into that genre - Can't wait to hear more similar stuff from you in the future.

If you found this useful, you could take a listen to my new track: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&forumid=74&threadid=241232

this isnt bad, the only thing i dont really like is the bass sound and the percussion. i love the bongos and things but the hihats dont really add much i dont think, you could perhaps replace them with some other more tribal percs. the kick is indeed very soft but it doesnt need to be any harder in a track like this really. im not too keen on the basschange, i think it sounds better when its monotone. the vocal sample is nice, what is that from?

Thanks Mike for some insightful opinions. Always a pleasure to get them.

I got the vocal sample from a CD. Don't remember the title of it, but it was some kind of recording from a munks abbey or some cathedral.

Did a lot of sample work a couple of years ago and put them on some comp cd:s for future use as in this case.

Listening,
Hey this could be Halo 3 next main theme!
The gregorian choirs gets ur attention since the begin, I like the strings u use later, reminds me of Jean Michel Jarre first tunes, plus the bass, nice ethnic percussions also .
This is an interesting Trance tune, quite original .
In overall is a nice tune, I would boost the overall sound a bit, it sounds a bit weak imo, try a limiter or a compressor to add more punch.
Good work keep it up .
Kopi =o.

Well my dear G.o.M this is some nice stuff, propably one of the Greatest tunes ive heard in TA in my short time of existance att this place. Love the tablas and the pad work, The vocals suites just perfect this tune makes me wanna kill some aliens =) some one mentioned halo .But I would also use a compresor to make the track more powerful. Keep up the great work

Track

Definitely work more on the bass drum/hi hat programming and sound to give it more style and punch. Try getting other people to collaborate with you on that

Posted by Nolan on Oct-15-2005 20:43:

Hey i remember hearing this when you posted it back in feb, holy **** still sounds as awesome as it did then, hell i remembered it and its very good indeed, what did you use for the pads/strings?

Posted by Delay on Oct-15-2005 23:14:

Sounds quite nice, although it isnt my niche in trance.

Posted by Nemesis44 on Oct-16-2005 15:40:

Nice without question. Not much to say that hasn't already been said.

Cheers

The rythm can be found in different ways AND at different tempos... Strangely enough one string of sounds can have different tempos depending on how to count the beats.... Can't describe it in a better way with words... At least not in English... Anyone got a clue what I'm trying to tell Takkara here... please help me...

I will make this final adjustment... Putting a master edit unit to boost the tracks overall sound....
