There's a funny truth to all this. Kid Rock had a record deal back in '90 and was gonna be pretty much the first white em cee to drop a major debut. However, Vanilla Ice came out of nowhere and sported the same looks that Kid Rock already established years ahead. So to make a short story even shorter, Ice got big and Kid Rock returned to Detroit where he worked to improve his style. Too bad he went redneck on us.
