Hey Stimula - love the breakdown with those almost orchestral strings

Love the choral pads too, maybe fatten up the 'orchestral strings' a bit - but this definitely has a 1999 feel to it with those synths that come in.
If you work on fattening up the synths then this will be great.

here's fast comment from me

> nice melodies in this one
> your sounds are a bit thin indeed as RickyM said, i suggest you should work on taking off this software feel from them.

with some more workon the sounds this should be very nice

ta thanks for the feed back
It sounded fine on my cheap head phones,
Guess that explains a lot.

can you tell me more about the problems with the synths?

is it lack of mid range ?

it's not only a lack of midrange, if you add some midrange on a "cheap - sounding" synth it will just sound dull and muddy and even more cheap.

thats odd because most of the sounds came from a roland jp-8080,

after a second listen on monitors, the synth that needs the most work (IMO) is the high saw playing in the beginning (so the main synth aswell).

sorry, ive exagerated a bit in my first post and those deep growling fx's are nice.

maybe you could work a bit more on the transitions aswell

peace

What is wrong with the synth ?
envelope adsr ?
filter?
FX?

?

as i said, i think it's too thin. If it comes from the JP i'm sure you can make it sound better. Maybe youve HP-filtered it too much aswell.
