Don't say straight men have homophobia!

To say that you as a straight man have homophobia is just pure bullshit!

A homophobic is a person who is "affraid" of homosexuals and hate homosexual behaviour.
Homosexuality is two people of the same sex that love each other and have sex with each other. This is sick behaviour according to a lot of heterosexual men.

YET...!

They keep getting arroused by lesbians and say it is hot and sexy and nothing wrong with it whatsoever. What gives?
It's homosexual behaviour between two women, which makes it homosexuality. But you're homophobic? How can you like it?
If it's just if it's two males that have sex and love each other that bothers you, it can't be described as homophobia, right? Or is it only homosexual if it's two men and not two women?

I saw your point right away. I was just trying to figure out what prompted this thread.

i think men who are heterosexual get aroused when they see lesibian action (hell i do).. but its sort of a turn off to see 2 men going at it for a straight guy.. since its not appealing to them.. . im ok with it just as long as they dont grab my ass, cup a feel or hit on me.. and its not very appealing for me to watch.. since i don't swing that way

Well this is how i look at it. Men have more sexual freedom, right? It doesn't appeal to lesbians to have sex with men at all, and stil men try to get them to have sex with them. No?

I don't care if I get hit on by men. I'm comfortable enough with myself that I can tell them I'm straight and I respect them enough to accept that. If they start becoming pushy, then I might have issues with it.

I don't think men necessarily try to hit on lesbians in particular, or get laid with a couple of lesbians. It's just that men are attracted to women, so wouldn't it only be intuitive that they'd be even more attractive to multiple women?

I'm pretty sure the 'Lesbian' stuff most people imagine is the stuff the pornography industry has tailored to our tastes. I can't remember if it was Chasing Amy or some other pro-gay thing I saw, but it stated that if a typical guy were to see what lesbians really do it'd freak them out.

Either way, I don't have any problem with homosexuals, but the least of my worries is trying to imagine them in bed. People get up in arms about gay guys because they immediately think of what they do when the lights are out, and on the flip side they imagine what girls do together. If you see two straight people, most of us won't immediately mentally undress them both.

A regular hetero man sees:

Lesbians and thinks there is potential for a hot threesome

Gay men and thinks he should watch out or they might get the wrong idea and try to fuck him in the ass

I dont know about you but theres no way a gay man is even going near my ass. Hell the only way I'll hang out with a homo is after making sure he understands that I don't swing that way.

and unfortunately your premises are flawed. While arousal may occur during pretty much ANY pornographic scene, most men dont want a bi-sexual partner nor do they want to have multiple partners themselves.

If getting a boner meant you wanted to live with and love something and maybe even have sex with it...youd have to not be a man to have that idea stuck in your head.

The word homophobia means you fear homosexual behavior, so that includes female-female sex. So you're right about the definition, but a lot of people just throw around the term 'homophobe' and obviously don't know what they're talking about.

What's interesting is that while straight men don't fancy to see 2 men kissing but they don't mind wome and even find it hot. Now, I've asked my female friends (not just now, but I know I've asked them in the past) and most of them don't fancy women on women either. However, I think that women are probably more experimental to trying it than men, possibly due to the fact that generally lesbians are less frowned upon than gay men, and therefore they feel that when they try it it's not as big of a deal.

well shit...i'm straight and i joke about gay shit all the time...i don't think i'm a homophobe hehehe...
