Touchy Ableton question..

alright, a I have a question and I'm hesitant about asking it...

Well, I'm looking to start messing around with Ableton live. It looks like a cool program once you get the hang of it. Anyway, I've been doing a ton of research on it, and it all looks good. but I really want to try it out first hand, and not the demo version. I've been looking on hubs for full versions with keygens and such, and basically want to try and get a full version up to mess around with for a week or so before I go out and buy it. Guitar Center has a no refund policy on opened software. I've been burned once already by buying software that turned out to not be for me and I was stuck holding my dick.

Anyway, my question is regarding how to use key gens etc... I tried installing version 4.04 and had a lot of trouble getting the keygen to actually work. Is it even possible to use DLed copies of Ableton? Anyway, thanks in advance for any help. I know this is a touchy subject.

I hear where your coming from, sometimes the Demo just ain't good enough and would be better to try the full version before buying, dunno how this thread will go since its a dodgy topic, but who knows.

thanks for the input. I installed torrent. I'm new to the program as of like 5 minutes ago. What are the most used torrent sites? I tried one piratebay or something and couldn't find anything on Abelton. Thanks again.

I been trying the same thing, because it has so much potential and with the demo version you can't do much at all.

I've looked for everything too and came up empty, it's hard.

If your going to download anything, just download the demo off the site then find the key for it, that way you'll get good files instead of possibly corrupted ones.

if you downloaded it, there should be a .nfo file with it (if it is v4.04, look for beat.nfo or h2o.nfo). read that file, it should tell you all.

I forgot about this thread. Anyway, I DLed it with the keygen and followed all the instructions, and I believe got the crack to work...the blue bar went all the way to the end and said it was cracked. But every time I try to open it up, it still presents me with the registration page and won't give me access to the full version. Does anyone know if I've missed a step between getting the keygen to work and actually opening the program? Thanks in advance.

I thought the same, but then someone else figured it out and he told me what to do, and I tried and guess what...it didn't work. So at that point I knew 100% I was mildly retarded.

ok there son. I'm failing to see how not knowing about cracks and keygens correlates into not being able to learn how to use software.
