I'm not quite sure what you are speaking of. When they announced the end of hulla completely it was at the beginning of their last year, not the actual last Hulla (4 Hullas left). That way people would know in advance that it was ending soon. Now there are 2 left. Perhaps that was the confusion: last year of parties vs. last party.

and this last Hulla is July 9

Im gonna miss not being able to be in attendance at the LAST Hulla ever though... man, this really sucks I so wanted to attended....

Ok, not so happy with Destiny making WEMF the same weekend as the last Hulla. Anabolic planned it a long time ago and it's the VERY last Hulla...Destiny, that wasn't very nice

Anyhow, I'm thinking I would like to do both. Go to WEMF for Fri. night and then Hulla on the Sat. That way I don't have to miss either. I'm sure I can do the whole WEMF weekend next year but this will be the last Hulla forever.

Hulla's were the first parties I ever went to and while I'm not so into happy hardcore anymore, one last time would be monumental.

And then on the other, its WEMF, best fucking party all year, total like "rave" stylez... and sat. is the BIG night always.....

so its like ur be missing the sickest night there...

Location is key for me.

Opera House = Ugh.

I personally believe that the opera house is 'standard' rather than 'substandard'.

Substandard is having coatcheck beside the janitor's sink, telling everyone you have to re-boot the sound system right in the middle of a set, no door search whatsoever, and bright light leaking in through a streetlamp all night. Btw, what I described was not the opera house, it was a party that I had tons of fun at regardless of the dirtly little venue. Also, my point again is....the opera house really isn't substandard, it just isn't a top venue.

We would all like the last Hulla to be at a really good venue like the Docks but unfortunatly it's not going to happen.

Personally I Like the opera house (tho i didnt like how they ran outta Red Bulls last time i was there)

Its intimate, i like the layout of the place too... i very much enjoyed partying there... it was a welcome change from the commercialism of guv or the docks (not that im knocking those clubs bc i frekaing luv the guv)

the only beef i hav with Opera house is that venue gets hot as hell when there are too many ppl .. and this is gonna be in July and sure to be a RAMMED house

i hope they do something about the air-ciculation in that place like bring in some portable fans or something .. or mist machines
