-- Replacement keyboard from Logitech
Replacement keyboard from Logitech
I heard through the grapevine that you can request a replacement keyboard from logitech if there is something wrong with yours. And when I heard that, there was nothing wrong with my keyboard but now the space bar is sticking. So I would love to find out how to obtain a replacement. I tried the website but it must be quite hidden. Has anyone actually done this before? Who do you contact?
I have gotten replacment keyboard and mice (wireless, optical) from Microsoft by calling them and requesting one.
I don't know if Logitech offers the same service.
so do you have to actually provide them with your old keyboard? or do you just demand it.
With Microsoft, I have called and requested replacements, without giving a reason, and without sending the old one back.
hmm, so i have to find the number.

Because Margs really needed to know about Microsoft's policies, RJ.
Margs:
Determining if Your Logitech Product Needs Warranty Replacement
Logitech Customer Support
I think they don't have a toll-free number, but as long as you don't call at a peak time, they won't hold you on the phone for long. Call the one in Vancouver - since they're a few hours behind, you can get through first thing in the morning, my friend did that and the whole process took him about 10 minutes on the phone. And since the product he had was no longer in production (Cordless Freedom) they gave him the new one (MX).

I got my keyboard and mouse replaced by Logitech. You just gotta call'em and, and they'll issue you an RMA number. Send it over and they'll send you a new one back.
edit: Marg you got the duo too? Thats what I got as well. My mouse was uneven, so I sent mine in for a new one. You have to send both in, since it was purchased as a package.
