Cool *Better Sample* Acute - Rewired (Sample)

Hey everyone!

I posted a really different version of this tune a while ago and it got a really mixed response. This time i have gone a bit more conventional and made a slower trance version (well ive tried at least)

Sorry its only a sample, I will try and get a better fuller version up as soon as I have edited a bit (Its currently about 11 mins long somehow!)

Acute - Rewired (Sample)

Any suggestions??

Thanks a lot

Your current version is 11 minutes? - That's rather long.

I like the sample, the music is refreshing and the sounds you put in are great! Good haunted synth-melody lateron only snare roll is a bit too dry. I like what you did with the bass after that breakdown (the part where it modulates)

Be sure to post that full version soon, I like this one!

Hey thanks mate! Yeah its onlt because I was just testing the rhythm section so I kept repeating and repeating the loops. All I have to do is chop bits out in sound forge. I didnt do it yet cos I was working on it all night and I really couldnt be bothered

Thanks for the feedback!

nice sound you have there, very clean and powerfull. great breakdown! yes, snareroll sounds too dry, maybe put a flanger over it? i think that would work nicely. but there isn't a real main melody, am i right?

how could you say that, if you give the snareroll more reverb the track would be ONLY reverb damn, ...

relax man! just a miscommunication of speech, because I thought DRY and WET always mean the reverb, ... don't get mad

well usually you speak dry and wet as clean and processed signals, that means dry signal in----> wet signal (effects like reverb, delay, chorus, distort, whatever) out

Now Now you two! Play fair!

Thanks a lot for the comments though. I will look at the snare because it is obviously starting wars and i dont want that do i??

No there isnt a melody as such, but this is the way Im going at the moment. Someone has to write those filler tunes dont they

Thanks again guys

Anyone else care to give an opinion??

If I post a longer sample, would that help people criticise the track? It already has support from Luke which is really cool, just wanted to know what everyone else thought

Cheers

- nice work on the bg of the track
- the actually bass seems a bit loud
- hats sounds nice coming in at 1:30
- those melodies really get the vibe going, but the track needs a lead in general
