What would be your dream line-up for Trance Energy 2005?

I would like Yves Deruyter, Darren Tate, Ron van den Beuken (insted of e.g. DJ Jean).

Whats the point in replacing a DJ as shit as DJ Jean with 3 equally as shit candidates? I suppose Trance Energy is one of the biggest joke festivals of all time, so you sort of have a bit of a point.

There is no point in constructing a list...

Everyone has different tastes in WHO they would want to see in a line-up.

The thread title simply asks
What would be your dream line-up for Trance Energy 2005?

Instead of posting an insult on somebody elses list. Why don't you just post your own and stfu.

Above and Beyond to open
Marco V
ATB
Tiesto spinning his pre2002 magic
Infected Mushroom (they have their haters, but I loved them when I saw them live)
Armin Van Buuren
Ferry Corsten
Paul Van Dyk
Paul Oakenfold to finish....spinning his pre2000 magic

And for anyone who says some of these guys are overhyped? They only got overhyped once they got to the top. A lot of people forget these guys didn't make it to the top without talent. Each one is amazing in his own way. So shutup!

Why don't just give your lineup, instead of complaining about 'overhyped' DJs. That YOU don't like their stuff (anymore), does not mean I or someone else must think the same.

I think Trance Energy is designed to have 'mainstream' DJs behind the turntables. I have been there once when I was 18 (TE 2003). I can tell ya it's more a party where you leave with a wet shirt than a party where you are moving your feet a little bit and talk with friends 'bout how good that song is.

Some people forget how amazing a party can be that is fullfilled with tracks that make you jump and go crazy like an idiot. You can't call it dance anymore. I admit, I don't like it as much as 2 years ago. I rather go to DanceValley than to Trance Energy, but such a party once a year is pretty cool. Especially if you could make your own lineup.

A lot of people think Adagio For Strings by Tiesto is crap. That can be, but on the dancefloor with that track I am unstopable! I have seen some parts of Tiesto In Concert, the whole stadium was unstopable. The tracks turned on at Trance Energy are of the same (sub)genre as Adagio For Strings. I'd love to go there once more!

So please stop with that bullshit. Skip the thread if you don't like it. Let me and others who like it to go to Trance Energy, have some fun in this thread.

So here is my line up.

Armin van Buuren
M.I.K.E.
Randy Katana
Tiesto (only seen him once, love to see him once more)
Blank and Jones (their set at TE2002 was really great)

amen to that

Here we are bitching about 'overhyped' dj's again. Who cares about that stupid shit? Are people not allowed to like dj's when they are 'overhyped'?

Well Trance Energy has been close with my favorite line-up once in 2002 with Cosmic Gate (played an INSANE set back than), DuMonde, Kai Tracid and Talla2XLC.

Right now it would be:

-DuMonde
-Cosmic Gate
-Kai Tracid
-Ferry Corsten
-Gabriel & Dresden
-Marco V.
-Push live (best damn live show I've EVER seen)
-Nu-NRG live

Lab 4
Carl Cox
Marco V
Armin Van Buuren
Ferry Corsten
John 00 Flemming

the line-up this year is pretty much what I like to seee

I agree with 303 though, Gielen should stay with his fish (I read in the paper this morning that he won a price for the best Koi fish of the world in Japan) please Johan, stop with music ...
