ive always wondered...

how do you guys find out about new releases etc, before everyone else in the world seems to know, like what keeps happening in the new releases discussion forum ... so many songs and artists that i've never heard of before

some people are producers themselves and hear it from the source. Some other people know those people....

ory: do people make it a habit to listen to ASOT broadcasts, ive only heard pre-recorded streams from radio stations online, never live before... plus i cant understand the language that guys speaks in, only vaguely guess what the song titles are

go to a online recordstore...i like juno...and listen to the new releases every week...

the other day i went to atsdigital.com and bought their exclusive track(is it really exclusive?) kuffdam & plant - surface , probably within 1/2 hour of it being available to buy or something...

for me i just come here and see what other people think, and maybe people only talk about the songs that particularly stand out... maybe it takes a special type of person to go through downloadable sample after sample as a kind of habit and when they find something special they post it here

what about those people who can say very early on (a year or two ago)that they 'know theres 2 different versions of endre - kallocain original mix' or something like that... like you never find 2 versions of the same mix in a store do you

do online stores like let you sample a song out a loooong time before they are officially available, is that why people have those 'i cant wait' threads

I can confirm that the track Surface is an exclusive. Its not going to be released on vinyl. We did a deal with ATS Digital for them to have it on MP3 only.
