When nobody likes Trance..

Hey! Im a long time reader, first time poster.

Here is my problem, nobody I know likes Trance music. So I have nobody to go with to trance events/clubs.

So what I would like to know is, are there any good clubs to go to where I can meet more people who love Trance?

As far as meeting people who like trance - TOTA is the answer!

Hang out here for a bit, get to know people and then come meet up with us at trance events (check out the event forum for event listings, check out the "roll call" threads for specifics on people that are going to parties).

Whether your a guy or girl....TOTA are wicked peeps to meet and in no time you'll have no probs hooking up with ppl for an awesome night of great tunes
It's too bad the ppl around you don't listen or like trance....what a loss for them

ps....if someone gets rough with you on the board, just give your opin and don't let yourself be dragged into anything you don't like.

cyper...find a review thread and scan pics...you'll see many of hte usual suspects...just add yourself to the roll call for an event and show up!

I live up here in Collingwood where like NO ONE i knew likes trance...

but now i have a shit load of quality peps I always party with down in toronto and they all kick ass (and like trance! )

all of my very good TOTA friends (you all know who you are!), you all are fuckn amazing, and the acquaintances ive gotten to know are awesome ppl as well!

U'll meet ppl faster than you think and ull be surprised at how much fun u have partying wiht them and how cool everyone is (ull be EVEN MORE surprised by how amazing it just is to have friends into the music too... i know I was... heheheh, now im working on converting the rest of my friends... ive already converted one back in nov. outta hip hop and now shes a BIGGER edm clubbing wh00re than I ever was!!)

Hey, my problem exactly! I listen to psy mostly and don't know ANYONE in this country who listens to it.......NOT ONE PERSON!

But I'm hoping that will change soon - otherwise I'm jumping off a cliff

Hey! Guess what? Here in Hamilton I got no people who listen to trance that I can hang out with! The 2 local TAs I contacted and have met have disappeared like a fart in the wind. Neither has replied to my PM I sent weeks ago

For major events I wear my LQ jersey with my TA nickname on the back so others can spot me. Since you probably don't have a shirt with your TA nick on it, and even if you did, probably wouldn't wear it to a club, here's what I did:

I got started into the TOTA scene by planning to meet a fellow TA at a club so I could be introduced and wouldn't be wandering around completely aimlessly It worked out pretty well.

Barring that, there are the TA regulars that are easy to spot in a crowd (very recognizable)like Rabbit Joker, Cuzo, tha_Broad, Irish Graham and such that I see at a good 80% of the events I goto, spot them, and a group of TA's usually aren't too far away.

LOL ... I think I stopped ya, hehe ./// I listen to tons of EDM, and psychedelic trance happens to be one of the sub genres that I like, but not too much. X-Dream, MFG, Infected Mushroom, Psysex, Astrix, Chi-Ad, Hallucinogen, etc ....

I listen and own a lot of different EDM, from disco, retro, house to techno, trance, dance, goa/psy, acid jazz, even drum n bass.

Trance is my FAV!! I am always had trance events, Armin, Tiesto, PVD, PO, etc. There are lots of people on TA that loves TRANCE and will defintely hook up to go!!

SEXYBOY79 is always in for partying as well as I.
