If you throw up in someones car...

...what is your responsibility?

Posted by Psy-T on Feb-07-2005 14:04:

to apologize

Posted by Luke Terry on Feb-07-2005 14:05:

if its a private car, u ckean it or pay for it to be professionally cleaned.

Posted by Psy-T on Feb-07-2005 14:07:

yeah, that too

Posted by ryo on Feb-07-2005 14:12:

Clean it.

Posted by Icesotope on Feb-07-2005 14:18:

talk trash to the driver before you clean up his car

Posted by colonelcrisp on Feb-07-2005 14:33:

depends, if its your buddies car, you clean it, or blame it on someone else so that they have to clean it.

if its a cab..... run for it... i puked in a cab a while back here in ottawa and i was so hammskied that when the cabbie pulled up to my place and demanded 60 bucks for cleaning, i pulled out hte floormats that i puked on, brought them inside and washed them in my sink. then the bastard still demanded 60 bucks even though i cleaned it up, so i threw some change on the ground, gave him the finger, and went inside my house and locked the door. to this day i still laugh about that night.

the other option is dont puke in the car. if you can puke out hte window, ya you will cover the outside of hte car but that can be cleaned witha hose, or oyu can do what my buddy did, take one for the team and puke in your shirt.... saves on clean up. its your puke its only fair that only you have to deal with it.

Is it too late for that already?

You could always blame the driver for his crap driving!

ah man...that sucks!!!

i say get them to clean it

Posted by j_spot on Feb-07-2005 16:41:

Get your car detailed margs. probably $40 to clean it, and then present them with the bill. You cant in good conscience puke in the DDs car(I assume thats what happened) and then laeve them with the mess.

ps. That cars just full of bad luck isnt it!

Posted by Cal on Feb-07-2005 17:02:

Its your responsibility to run for it.

Posted by Zild on Feb-07-2005 17:07:

If someone puked in my car I'd pull over at a carwash or gas station and they'd be cleaning that shit before we went anywhere.

Let it freeze and leave it. In the spring when it thaws and starts to smell drive tru a car wash with your windows open.

This is why you always need to have a shopping bag in your car

But.. ya.. they should clean it..

Posted by StereoPrincess on Feb-07-2005 17:52:

i cleaned all of it last night and sucessfully because it smelled really nice this morning (i had pinesol in the trunk and it was deodorizing so it smelled). the person didn't clean it because when i dropped them off at home they were more sick and were busy in their own bathroom. i felt too bad.

if there is a hint of vomit in a few days, i'm getting the car detailed or whatever you call it.
