I am very keen to see James Holden! Any info about the venue?
Venue is Suzie Q's - 169 Oxford St Darlinghurst.
Generally it's a 2 room venue but we are opening it up to make one much biggger room. Capacity is 550 and there is a Turbo Sound System permanently installed - very loud, very clear.
Must be worth it cause im going to suffer the 2hr drive each way. Last saw him finish out earthcore a couple of years ago and that was magic.
3hrs set! what a treat!
with the lineup we got in melbourne i honestly doubt we will have 3 hrs as well..

ADELAIDE GETS 4 HOURS! bitches!
Cant wait! Hernan was awesome two weeks ago, see how James goes this sat night

| Originally posted by djway There's plenty of people waiting to see Holden, just not a heap of TA's, and not a lot of vocal TA's, there are at least 2-3 more who are going who haven't posted. Add to that that forums make up a small % of total clubbers. It'll be packed, he always draws a crowd. --djway |

Awesome night!
Although a tiny bit too techy throughout most parts, however I throughly enjoyed the INCREDIBLE skills of James Holden. I was in aw throughout his entire set and his ability to have the previous track mix throughout the entirety of the next track, almost sampling it throughout with all the bleeps and what have you, was quality. Some top class mixing from a very improved Holden and although I enjoyed his last set here in terms of his actual track selection (dont mind this new tech influence, but definitely prefer his proggier style over it) his skills really made up for it. Crowd was a bit meh I thought, didn't really get into it, but our little crew really tried to get it jumping. Highlight definitely had to be A break in clouds. See you all at Desyn next week
does he still look like a young bill gates?

Amazing night. James certainly knows how to build a set. A couple of standouts were the track which constantly changed pitch throughout and at about 4am he dropped a track that was the highlight of the night, fucking incredible. Place just went spastic.
Thanks teamchilli
