What is meant by TRIABL?

Just want to know what "tribal" music? Is tribal any similar to progressive ?
thanks for clarifying!

Well, yes, I guess it's similar to progressive house. It's much about deep drums, percussion, and so on.

Shaka Zulu invented it. Straight from Africa homie.

tribal is more about the instruments then structure. you could have tribal house, prog, trance, techno, ambient......

the easiest example is the scene in the matrix, fluke - zion i think

lots of percussion, bongos, clave... like "african" edm

go find some steve lawler & danny teneglia stuff...

Agreed, also check out Medicine Drum and Juno Reactor. "Conga Fury" is a good one, also their last album "Labyrinth" has some good tribal tunes.

its influenced by traditional african music usually, based very much on percussion and often ethnic scales and instruments

tony thomas, check his latest tribal productions out

Tribal is a mindset imo because it tends to take the mind on a journey into deepness.

They play it in the jungle.

Nalin and Kane- Beachball (The Level K 2003 mix)

Oscar G & Ralph Falcon - Dark Beat should steer you in the right direction, as well as Chus & Ceballos and Steve Lawler.
