Hardcore DJ Groupies and/or Admirers

You could probably go to a good grad school and make MORE than these idiots lol

A friend of mine who went to dental school bought a house next to Chris Lawrence...he is younger and he didnt have to go through the BS of kissing ass or promoting himself

See...thats my point...all these LOSER lovely women they're lost in some sort of Hollywood or showbiz fantasy/
They dont have the brains to realize fame is illusionary...they can maybe STUDY hard and become richer than the average schmuk slaving away in his retarded little studio lol

A freind of yours went to fucking dental school.

Good for him.

How are you comparing that to being a musician?

And how is your financial situation by the way? I'm hearing about your friend, but how about yourself?

its not all about the money

everyone my age is graduation this spring and Ive been travelling through scotland, london, spain, alaska, california, oregon, and Argentina for past 2 years. Im entering uni as junior this year i got 2 years. Prolly gonna do 1-2 of those in Spain...then im doin law school. but not gonna be a lawyer.

so ill be 27 and "further" behind than these people who are making 40 grand a year and havent ever been outside their state/country

All about what you love doin

I'd love to watch records spin around for a few hours a day and get paid as much as a dentist.

how about this logic ? : all djs need to see a dentist at some point or another, not necessarily true for dentist needing to see a dj.. haha

yes, too bad all these producers and djs decided not to be dentists.

Posted by Boomer187 on Feb-11-2005 20:34:

Seeing as I chose the grad school route, I can only tell you it all depends on what you want in life. If you want to be stuck in a job where everyone of your patients hates going in, hates what you do (thats teh evil side of dentistry, come on, no one likes going there) or do you wanna go to wierd places and play music you like (yes I skipped the dirty side of djin, like not getting paid, no sleep, not seeing the fam, so on so forth).

potatoes potatoes mang.
