The great known-progressive-bass
Last time I hear many progressive production uses the same kind of bass sample..
Ava Mea - In The End
Ridgewalkers - Find (Andy Moor Mix)
Hammer and Bennett - Language
and many more
how can I create this bass ?!
I think it's saw waveform with low octave..
what do u think?
saaaaaaamples!?
Prog bass is all about the line!
and the weird sound that is bassy yet weird, yet cool.

hrm...maybe I can get this bass with pro-53 ?
I mostly make Proggy-type tracks these days, and get very nice results with z3ta+ from RGC Audio. It's not free, but it's worth the money.
I get basses like this with mda jx10 which is free. Its very easy, the mainpart of this bass is the sidechaintrigger and the place of the note
Just tell me how its generally should be..
I got it... Ofcorse I changed it abit, but yes I got the base that you are talking about...
I built it in the Zeta, 4 Oscillators =

Sine^2
Sine^3
Alot of Eq'ing
Low Cutoff
Filter = 36 DB/OCT LPF
I cant really get in more details, but that is pretty much what you are looking after...
i disagree about the sine part yoel
basiclly its a low-freq MOOG filter with OSC of Pulse and PWM (Low),alot of attack on it... which creates the "Heaviness" (Sorry for My bad English) in the bass
almost made it but im too lazy to tweak , which means that with few tweaking and synth-programming technix it will work out D:

I think its done with sidechaining a bass pad. Sound is done as Perry described, but its more cool if you add a detune FX over it. Makes it kind of "phaserish" and more heavy :P
i tried to copy this bassline: http://www.solarproject.ch/linked/P...%20Bassline.mp3
but i didn't get near. it's somehow heavy to get a deep bassline which has still presence and power.
hey this one is cool its the exact bass from "Leama and Moor - Complex Synth Problems" tune
Well, here is the bassline I used in my last progressive tune. Think it came out pretty wellused Z3ta+.
My bassline
i dont understand, why do u guys use zeta to create such a sound which can be created in like any synth? or are my ears bad, and zeta is the only one that creates the ultimate sub bass? i am asking this because of cpu and stuff, zeta uses a lot right????
zeta takes alot but its quite good =] but im not usin` it...
i think the guy is looking for examples of patterns not sounds
ok I think im getting close to the bass..

Ridgewalkers Feat. El - Find (Perry's dead frog mix)
:O , its just a clip iv made to show you the bassline
honestly creating a really good heavy sub bass, bass sound is really hard to create imo. most the time it takes me hours and complex layers to even begin to create one thats even somewhat deep and sub rattling. z3ta+, arp2600v, moog modular, complex layers of beast in conjunction with bass station and audio realisms bassline eqing each one for a specfic frequency then rendering it to wav and using it. but really from my experience when using softsynths theres very few that can create it very good. ive spent hours working with friends on trying to get a decent bass sound thats even remarkble shitty. however i might just be going about shit completely wrong.
so from my experience its best to make basslines using only 3 spefic synths z3ta+, arp2600v, moog modular.
